Memphis College Preparatory School is a proposed K-5 public charter school serving the most at-risk and under-resourced students in Memphis. Our mission is to provide kindergarten through grade five students with the academic and ethical foundation necessary to excel in school and life.
We believe the path to college begins in kindergarten. All children, regardless of background or socioeconomic status, can be prepared to enter and succeed in college when provided with a positive school culture of urgency and high expectations. This rigorous academic and character foundation must begin in the early elementary grades in a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.
