An initiative for high-potential leaders who are determined to build a better Memphis. MPACT Memphis and Leadership Memphis partner for this program that includes experiential learning processes and exposes participants to local community leaders and organizations. It is offered to 50 participants in both the fall and spring semesters. Participants invest 40 hours in the classroom and the community over two Saturdays and 8 weeknights during the semester. Program tuition is $1,250. For an application or more information, contact Jon Burchfield, call 278-0016 or click here.
Leadership Academy Fellows Program
A leadership development program launched in 2004 to give tomorrow’s leaders the tools they need to lead today. Selected through a rigorous application process, these Fellows engage in 18 seminars over the course of a year. These seminars prepare the Fellows for work in the community by providing a solid foundation of self-knowledge so they can understand their strengths, their perspectives and their relationship dynamics with others; exposing them to the most pressing problems of today with no apologies for honesty and controversy; and connecting them with their peer Fellows and hundreds of existing community leaders to become a network of change agents. Click here for more information about the application timeline and program.
Entrepreneurial Collaboration
MPACT and LaunchMemphis are partnering to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our community. With a series of events, forums, and workshops throughout the year designed to bring focus to entrepreneurial activities in Memphis, we collectively hope to not only connect our respective members and participants for mutual benefit, but also deliver new business startups to our economy. Together we can all achieve more entrepreneurially in our community. Contact the MPACT office for more information at 901-528-8340 or info@mpactmemphis.org.
